Disc is a Bauhaus wall lamp reduced to a single circle: a diffused LED halo ringing a solid face, mounted flush enough that it reads as part of the wall rather than as something attached to it. There is almost no projection from the wall at all, which is what makes it usable in places where a conventional projecting sconce would simply be in the way.
There is nothing here but a circle and a ring of light, and that is exactly the Bauhaus argument: if the form is right, decoration becomes redundant. The acrylic ring softens the LED into an even ambient glow rather than leaving a visible source, so what you see from across the room is the shape itself rather than the bulb producing it. Six different finishes and two sizes mean that the same idea can stay quiet in a bedroom and considerably more assertive in a stairwell without changing the design at all.
It works particularly well in a narrow corridor, where the flush mounting keeps the whole wall clear of obstructions. Run three of them evenly along a long wall and the repetition achieves considerably more than any single larger fitting would on its own.
