The idea behind Lumenorth

Lumenorth started with a simple observation: the further north you live, the more light matters. Scandinavian homes learned long ago that good lighting is not about brightness. It is about warmth, softness and rhythm, and about making a long winter evening feel like somewhere you want to be.

We curate modern Nordic-style lighting - table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces, pendants and outdoor fixtures - and ship worldwide. Most orders in Europe and North America arrive within 2 to 10 business days, and every parcel is tracked.

How we choose what we sell

Every piece has to pass three tests before it reaches the shop: it has to look quiet in a room rather than demand attention, it has to give warm light in the 2700K to 3000K range, and it has to come from a supplier with a track record we are willing to stand behind.
