About Lumenorth

The idea behind Lumenorth

Lumenorth started with a simple observation: the further north you live, the more light matters. Scandinavian homes learned long ago that good lighting is not about brightness. It is about warmth, softness and rhythm, and about making a long winter evening feel like somewhere you want to be.

We curate modern Nordic-style lighting - table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces and pendants - and ship worldwide. Orders arrive within an estimated 3 to 14 business days wherever you are, and every parcel is tracked.

Who we are and how your order reaches you

Lumenorth is a small independent online shop based in Kuopio, Finland (Business ID 3659920-3). We do not keep our own warehouse. Each lamp is made and shipped by a manufacturing partner in Asia that we have selected, and it travels to you with tracking from the moment it is dispatched. We handle every customer question, return and refund ourselves.

How we choose what we sell

Every piece has to pass three tests before it reaches the shop: it has to look quiet in a room rather than demand attention, it has to give warm light in the 2700K to 3000K range, and it has to come from a supplier with a track record we are willing to stand behind.

Straightforward by design

No showrooms, no seasonal markdown theatre, no pressure. Considered lighting at a fair price, with 30-day returns if a piece is not right for your space. Questions before you order? Write to support@lumenorth.com and a human will answer.
