Lumenorth Loop Sculptural Table Lamp

Loop is a table lamp that behaves like a small sculpture. A single curved tube rises from the surface, doubles back on itself and lifts a soft white globe at one end. Switched off it still earns its place on a sideboard, which is not something most lamps can claim.

The LED is dimmable, so the same lamp gives a bright, even light for a working evening and a low glow for the end of one, with no bulb to change between the two. LED also means low running costs and very little heat, which matters on a lamp designed to sit within arm's reach where someone might well rest a hand on it. The globe diffuses the light fully, so the brightness you notice is on the walls and the surface rather than in your eyes.

The curved form reads best with a little space around it: a console in a hallway, one end of a sideboard, or a wide desk where the loop can be seen in profile.
