Bell is a Nordic glass pendant with the tapered, open-mouthed shape its name suggests. The glass is the whole design here: no fabric shade, no plastic diffuser, nothing between the bulb and the room except colour and the curve of the form itself.
Four glass finishes cover most rooms. Light amber and dark amber both warm the output towards gold, which is what a dining table wants in a northern winter when the afternoon has gone dark by four. Clear glass gives the brightest, crispest light and shows off a filament bulb properly, so it suits a kitchen where the pendant is doing real work over a worktop. Grey mutes everything into something quieter and more architectural, and it reads particularly well against pale plaster, concrete and unpainted timber.
