Vector is an adjustable LED pendant light that points light exactly where you want it, and it is named for the two things it actually controls: direction and distance. Most pendants settle for one fixed drop and one fixed angle, and the room has to live with both. This one does not ask you to. Everything about it is set after it is installed rather than before.
The cable extends to a hundred and eighty centimetres, so the same fixture can hang low over a dining table in a flat or sit high in a room with a tall ceiling and still look correct. The head then swivels through a full ninety degrees, which means you can aim it straight down onto a work surface, tilt it towards a reading chair, or turn it up to wash light across a wall and make a narrow room feel wider. Touch dimming is built into the fitting, so brightness is set by hand rather than by a wall dimmer that may not exist.
It is the pendant to choose when the ceiling point is in the wrong place or the room has more than one job to do. Hang one over a desk that doubles as a dining table, and change the angle rather than the furniture.
