Twin is a bedroom wall lamp with two light sources in one fixture: one for the room and one for the page. Most bedside lighting tries to do both jobs with a single bulb and ends up doing neither of them properly. Separating the two is the obvious answer to that, and it is surprising how few fittings actually bother to do it.
The upper lamp casts a soft ambient glow that fills the space around the bed without lighting the whole room or reaching the other side of it. The lower one rotates, so you can aim a tight beam directly onto a book and leave everything around it dark. That separation is the entire point of the design: you can read late without the overhead light on and without waking whoever happens to be asleep next to you, which is the situation that sells this fitting more than any detail of the finish does.
There are three finishes. Gun black is the sharpest and most graphic of them, and all three keep the same compact profile against the wall. Mount it at roughly seated shoulder height so that the lower head falls naturally onto the page without being reset each time.
