Quartz is a marble wall light: real stone set against a metal frame, with an LED source built in behind it. It is not a printed finish or a stone-effect coating, which is obvious the moment you see one in person and even more obvious once the light is on behind it. Marble is the whole point of the fitting, and everything else is kept plain so that it can be.
Every piece has its own veining, so no two fixtures are ever quite the same and the one that arrives is genuinely yours rather than one of a run. Stone also does something that neither glass nor metal can manage: it holds a slight warmth and depth in the surface even when the light is switched off, which is why a marble sconce reads as a decorative object on the wall during the day rather than as a fitting waiting to be used in the evening.
There are two sizes and two metal finishes. The medium at sixteen centimetres suits a bedside or a hallway, while the larger version holds a bigger wall. Black keeps the frame graphic against the stone; gold warms the marble and picks up the veining running through it.
