Orbit is a retro pendant lamp with the rounded, self-contained shape that defined mid-century ceiling lighting: a form that reads as an object first and a light fitting second, and one that looks considered whether it happens to be switched on or not.

There are three colours. Orange is the one the era is remembered for, and it does now what it always did, warming a room and giving an otherwise neutral kitchen a single point of confidence to build around. Green is the quieter alternative, closer to the olive and sage tones that sit easily with wood and pale plaster. White lets the shape do all the work without the colour, which suits a room that already has plenty going on elsewhere and needs nothing more than the silhouette to finish it off.
