Moss is a wall sconce with a planter built into its base: a small pocket of greenery mounted at eye level and lit from directly above. Plants on a wall usually mean a bracket, a pot and a separate light that never quite points at them. This fitting does all three of those jobs at once, and it does them in the order that actually makes sense.
The base holds soil for trailing plants, succulents or herbs, and it works just as well with faux greenery if the wall does not get enough daylight or you would rather not think about watering something mounted above a socket. Trailing species are the ones to choose if you want the fitting to change over the months, since they grow down past the base and gradually make the whole thing look considerably less like hardware.
