Terra is a planter pendant chandelier that treats a plant as part of the fixture rather than as something standing near it: frosted glass globes and a growing pot suspended from the same metal frame. The frosted glass keeps the light soft, which suits a fitting people will look directly at because there is something growing in it. It is a chandelier in structure and a small garden in intent. Both halves are taken seriously.
There are three configurations. The 1 Ball is the simplest, a single frosted globe that stays clean and quiet in a small room or a hallway. The 2 Ball pairs two globes for wider coverage and a more sculptural profile, and it is the one to hang as a statement piece over a living room or a long table. The 1 Ball 1 Pot combines a globe with the integrated planter, which is the version most people actually want in a kitchen or a dining room, where the plant gets daylight during the day and lamplight in the evening.
Use a free-draining compost and water sparingly, since the pot hangs above a live fitting. Trailing species look best here, because they grow down past the globes and soften the whole frame over a season or two.
