Tilt is a pendant with a head that moves. The cord sets the height and the shade angles independently, so the light lands where you actually want it, on the worktop, across a table or onto a picture, instead of falling straight down by default the way a fixed pendant does.

Black recedes against a dark ceiling and reads almost as a silhouette, which suits a room where the lighting should not announce itself. Gold catches the light and gives a plainer kitchen a warmer, more finished look for very little effort. Both keep to the same slim Scandinavian profile, so the choice is about tone rather than shape, and a single room can take one of each finish in different places without ever looking mismatched.

It is available singly or in sets of two, three or four. A run of matched pendants above a kitchen island is the obvious use, with each head angled slightly differently so that the light covers the whole length of the worktop evenly instead of leaving dark patches between the pools. A single one hung over a reading chair, or aimed at a wall of pictures, does a job that no fixed ceiling spotlight can manage without a rewire.
