Lumenorth Strand Plug-In Hanging Light

Strand is a plug-in hanging light built for people who cannot or would rather not touch the wiring: a long cord, an inline switch, and anywhere from one pendant to nine of them. Nothing here needs an electrician, and nothing leaves a mark that cannot be filled in with a dab of paint. For a rented flat or a room you are not sure about yet, that is the entire case for it.

A single drop in the four or six metre cord length is the quiet option: hang it over a nightstand or a reading chair, plug it in, and be done with the whole question in ten minutes. The three, six and nine pendant sets turn the same idea into a genuine feature. Drape them across a ceiling, stagger the heights above a bed to make a headboard wall, or run them along a wall to light a whole side of a room that the existing wiring never reached in the first place.

The inline switch means you are not dependent on a wall plate that may be on the wrong side of the door. Keep the cord runs clear of anything that moves when planning the hook positions.
