Lumenorth Lever Chrome Swing Arm Lamp

A reading light that actually moves with you. Lever is a chrome swing arm wall lamp built specifically for the places where the light really matters: beside the bed, above a reading chair, or angled out over a home office desk. The arm both extends and pivots, putting the light exactly where you need it to be, and then stays exactly there, without needing to be reset every time somebody leans against the wall beside it.

The articulated arm is precision-formed from chrome-plated metal, and that matters considerably more than it sounds. A swing arm gets moved constantly, several times a day in a bedroom, and a poorly made joint loosens within months until the lamp sags wherever gravity puts it. A well-made one holds its position for years and still moves smoothly when you want it to. That difference is entirely invisible in a photograph and completely obvious after six months of ownership.

It takes an ordinary E26 lamp and is dimmable, so the same fitting covers a brightly lit page and a much lower evening level. Chrome suits a room that already has some metal or glass in it, and it wipes clean with a soft dry cloth.
