Lumenorth Axis Rotating Wall Sconce

Axis is a modern wall sconce that turns. Three hundred and fifty degrees of rotation means a single fixture covers almost every direction you would ever want light to go, which is genuinely unusual in a fitting as restrained as this one. Most sconces commit to a single angle on the day they are installed and hold it for years. This one does not commit to anything at all.

Aim it down to read, up to wash the ceiling and make a low room feel taller, or across to pick out a picture hanging on the same wall. The point is not only flexibility on the day it goes up. It is that a room's use changes over time, and a fixture that turns does not have to be moved, rewired or replaced when it does. A bedroom becomes a study, a guest room becomes a nursery, and the lighting follows along without anyone getting a drill out.

That makes it equally at home in a living room, a bedroom, a hallway or a staircase. It comes in black, white and gold, so the fitting can either disappear quietly against the wall behind it or read as a deliberate accent placed on it.
